Blues Showcases Connected Fleet Systems at Mid-America Trucking Show 2026
Blues presented its connected device-to-cloud system for fleet management at the Mid-America Trucking Show 2026, according to a company announcement. The technology company demonstrated how its platform enables fleet operators to connect vehicles and equipment to cloud-based management systems for real-time monitoring and data analysis.
Fleetio and Motive Launch Integrated Fleet Platform
Fleet management software providers Fleetio and Motive announced a new fleet maintenance and optimization platform that combines their respective technologies. The integrated platform aims to streamline fleet operations by connecting maintenance management with telematics data and vehicle monitoring capabilities.
The partnership represents a growing trend among fleet technology providers to offer comprehensive solutions rather than standalone products. Similar collaborations include Networkcar's selection of Siemens for its vehicle management system and TMW's partnership with WebTech Wireless to deliver fleet management solutions.
Mobile Fleet Management Applications Expand
Several companies released mobile applications to extend their fleet management capabilities. Fleetio launched a mobile fleet management app, while ARI made its fleet management services available on mobile devices. GEOCOMtms also released a mobile fleet management solution, reflecting the industry's shift toward mobile-first platforms.
These mobile solutions allow fleet managers to access vehicle data, maintenance records, and operational metrics from smartphones and tablets, providing greater flexibility for managing distributed operations.
Industry Education and Training Programs Continue
Multiple organizations announced fleet management education initiatives. The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) scheduled a Private Fleet Management Institute for January, while separate fleet management seminars were offered through various industry programs.
The Work Truck Show 2005 included a Fleet Management Symposium among its educational offerings. Peterbilt also conducted fleet management seminars at the NTEA Show, demonstrating manufacturers' commitment to educating fleet operators on best practices and new technologies.
