International Opens Online Parts Store for Mixed Fleets

Parts ordering moves online

International Motors has launched Fleetrite.com, an online truck-parts store built for fleets, repair shops and owner-operators that need to find parts without waiting on a counter call.

The site combines International OEM parts, Fleetrite-branded replacement parts and third-party aftermarket parts in one catalog. Heavy Duty Trucking reported that the store covers about 400,000 parts for commercial trucks and buses.

Inventory and dealer fulfillment are the point

The practical change is visibility. Customers can search by VIN, vehicle, part number or category, cross-reference parts, check pricing, and see availability at a local dealer, an International parts distribution center, and online inventory.

Orders are filled through more than 600 International and IC Bus dealer locations across North America. Customers can ship parts to a dealer or directly to their location, track deliveries, and reorder from purchase history. International also says national fleets can connect directly through an API.

What fleets should watch

For mixed fleets, the value is less about a new website and more about reducing the friction around maintenance purchasing. When OEM and all-makes parts can be ordered on one invoice, fleets get a clearer path for downtime-sensitive jobs, recurring replacement parts and branch-level repair support.

The operating question is whether the platform can keep availability and delivery promises current enough for dispatchers, shops and maintenance managers to trust it when a vehicle is already down.
