Milestone Lands at Coke Canada

Orange EV has delivered its 2,000th electric terminal truck, placing the milestone unit with Coke Canada Bottling for yard operations in British Columbia and Quebec.

The deployment expands the bottler's electric yard-truck fleet and comes as Coke Canada Bottling named Orange EV a 2025 Supplier Partner Award winner. The customer is one of Canada's largest beverage manufacturers and distributors.

What the Fleet Has Logged

Orange EV said its deployed fleet has surpassed 12 million key-on hours and 33 million miles across more than 370 fleets.

The company said those trucks are operating in more than 41 U.S. states, four Canadian provinces, and the Caribbean. It also reported average uptime of roughly 97% across deployments.

Why Yard Trucks Keep Moving First

Terminal tractors remain one of the cleaner heavy-duty electrification use cases because they run repeatable routes, return to base, and can charge inside controlled yard operations.

For fleet managers, the milestone is less about a single delivery and more about duty-cycle proof. Electric yard trucks are moving from pilot projects into standardized equipment plans at distribution centers, logistics hubs, ports, and intermodal facilities where downtime and fuel volatility are daily operating issues.
