Union Leasing Rebrands as Moventum After 70 Years

A 70-Year Fleet Business Gets a New Name

Union Leasing is now Moventum Fleet Management, a rebrand the Sasser-owned company says reflects its shift from vehicle leasing into broader fleet management and financing services.

The company, founded more than 70 years ago, said the new name is meant to signal both continuity and a wider role in fleet operations. President Mark Hogland framed the change as a clearer expression of the business rather than a break from its existing service model.

What Changes for Customers

Moventum says its model will still center on dedicated account teams and full lifecycle fleet support. The company points to account teams averaging more than 15 years of tenure, client relationships averaging more than 10 years, and a Net Promoter Score of 62 as evidence that the rebrand is tied to relationship continuity, not a reset.

The transition also includes a new corporate headquarters at 700 Commerce Drive in Oak Brook, Illinois. Moventum remains part of Sasser, Inc., an employee-owned transportation asset services company.

Why Fleet Managers Should Notice

For fleet operators, the move is another sign that traditional leasing providers are trying to describe themselves less as vehicle-finance partners and more as operating partners. That distinction matters when buyers compare providers on lifecycle planning, uptime support, data, and account-team stability instead of monthly lease cost alone.
