USA Truck has returned to private ownership. UTAC, LLC, led by current and former executives, acquired 100% of shares from DSV in an all-cash transaction on January 9, 2026.
A Rocky Ownership History
DB Schenker acquired the carrier in June 2022 for approximately $435 million. When DSV completed its acquisition of DB Schenker in April 2025, USA Truck came along. DSV quickly signaled the trucking subsidiary did not fit its strategic direction.

The new owners have emphasized continuity: headquarters remain in Van Buren, Arkansas, and the management team plans to pursue steady growth under nimble private ownership.
